Tracy Lauren Marrow (Ice-T) was born on February 16, 1958, in Newark, New Jersey, U.S. His father Solomon was African American and his mother Alice Marrow was African American of Louisiana Creole descent. When Marrow was a child, his family moved to the exclusive Summit, New Jersey.
