Choose the Right Cleanser
In a market so oversaturated with skincare products, it can be a challenge to choose the best ones, especially since everyone has their own particular needs. Finding the ideal cleanser, for example, is a highly individual process that can take a number of tries to get right and settling for the wrong one can cause unwanted side-effects like rashes and redness.
After cycling through an exhaustive list of options, I finally landed on the perfect cleanser for my oily skin. Best of all, it contains no parabens, sodium lauryl sulfate, or BHT, all of which have been linked to skin irritation, liver damage, and even cancer.
Don’t Overdo It
Aloki Skin Townsville explains, Just because you own a lot of products doesn’t mean that your skin will be happy! Some products actually counteract each other’s effects, causing serious irritation and sometimes making matters worse. Remember that old acronym, K.I.S.S.—keep it simple, stupid!
Use the Right Moisturizers for Day and Night
Most people aren’t aware that they should be using different products depending on whether it’s day or night.
During the day, for example, you should use a lighter moisturizer that keeps the skin hydrated; at night, on the other hand, you should be using a heavier one. This routine might take some getting used to, but after a while, it should be easy, and hopefully, as a result, your skin will look clearer, more youthful, and more elastic!
What is Collagen?
Collagen, a naturally occurring bodily protein, is an important component of most skincare products, skin hair and nail vitamins but do you know why? It is the glue that holds the body together, encouraging the production and reconstruction of skin, bones, tissue, and muscles—in fact, it’s just about everywhere! As we age, however, the body produces less and less collagen, which unfortunately causes wrinkles, turkey necking, and drooping jowls.
On the bright side, there are a multitude of ways to stimulate your body’s production of collagen, whether it be through supplements, creams, or other products. When I’m shopping, by way of example, I make sure that all of my skincare products include some measure of collagen, and as a result, my skin has become a lot healthier—so much so that it just about glows!
Try Restylane
Of all of my skincare secrets, my favorite is Restylane.
Restylane, as well as a host of other cosmetic fillers, use hyaluronic acid, which, just like collagen, is naturally produced in the body. Contrary to what you might think, hyaluronic acid isn’t harmful; in fact, it keeps the joints lubricated and the rest of the body supple.
In recent years, medical professionals have turned to hyaluronic acid injections to make people look healthier and more refreshed. Restylane, which I use, is one of the most popular brands, as it increases facial volume and fills in wrinkles and lines!
It’s the perfect alternative to surgery, and the recovery time is negligible. What’s not to love?
